The Kent County Correctional Facility Renovation Project moved forward with a groundbreaking this morning.
Project Highlights include:
- Replacing 563 beds
- Cells designed to allow for flexibility in number of bunks
- Direct supervision housing
- Energy efficient heating and electrical systems
- Video visitation
- Improved safety of inmates and staff
