Why did you choose the construction industry?
I remember in eighth grade I interviewed an architect for a class project and thought that is what I want to do. I have been on this path ever since of architecture and now construction management.
What should we know about you?
I am a huge animal lover. My daughter and I have been volunteering at the Animal Rescue Project in Kalamazoo for the last nine years. When I turned 46, I came to the realization that over those nine years, I had rescued over 4,600 dogs.
Being around for over 120 years, O‑A‑K has built a great reputation. The people have all been a pleasure to work for, and their sincerity comes through in the way they interact with clients and other professionals.
In this video, Courtney shares more about her passion for the building industry and why she decided to join the O‑A‑K team.
