Why did you choose the construction industry?
As a kid my friends and I spent a lot of time gleaning scrap wood from the local lumber yard so we could build forts throughout our neighborhood. Eventually the idea of an ever-changing jobsite, constant daily challenges, and the visible reward for my hard work made it a pretty simple life decision.
What have you learned while working at O‑A‑K?
So far, I’ve learned that if you’re going to invest into your community then it’s imperative to have a well-managed and highly experienced team looking out for the best interest of all of the parties involved. No one is better equipped to do so than a well-established Construction Manager.
What do you do in your free time?
I’m a pretty typical guy in regards to hobbies, I hunt whitetail deer, enjoy exploring new wilderness and sometimes getting lost, trail riding and occasionally binge watching a new show on Netflix. My family and I enjoy spending time at our seasonal campsite near Silver Lake where we take advantage of the lakeshore and all it has to offer.
What else should we know about you?
I believe that a good attitude can get you through some pretty bad situations and dwelling on the problem will never present a solution.
