Owen Ames Kimball, Company, Fort Myers announced that Project Manager Leo Smith was recently awarded a NICET Level IV certification in Highway Construction. There are only 14 other active Highway Construction Level IV certificate holders in the State of Florida. Mr. Smith also holds an active Level IV in Architectural/Building Construction Engineering Technology and is the only certificate holder in Florida. The National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies awards certifications based on the candidate's ability to prove a level of expertise in their field via examinations, years of work experience, and performance verification. Varying levels of certification represent different levels of expertise with the Level IV certification being the highest and representing the pinnacle of the profession.
