O‑A‑K announces the addition of Courtney James, Project Manager

Owen‑Ames‑Kimball Co. (O‑A‑K), local construction management company, announces the addition of Courtney James as a Project Manager. Courtney brings twenty years of construction management and architectural experience, managing projects up to $70 million, with a large focus in the education and government sectors. A Kalamazoo County resident, she has served in various leadership positions, allowing her to be well versed in customer service, design, project management, and attention to detail.

“Courtney brings a unique skill set, which will complement our project management team,” said Jeremy Amshey, Chief Operating Officer. “We have been experiencing growth in the Southwest Michigan region, so she will be an asset to help us serve both current and future clients in that region.”

ABOUT COURTNEY JAMES

Courtney holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Drury University. Prior to O‑A‑K, she served as the Co-Founder, Vice President, and Project Manager for a technology consultant firm. She is a volunteer for the Animal Rescue Project, and she also serves on the Gerald D. Barnes Family Scholarship Selection Committee and the Battle Creek Central High School Hall of Fame Board of Directors.
