Stanek
CEO & President of O-A-K Michigan
The eighth CEO in our employee-owned company's 134-year history, Frank Stanek earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University and joined the O‑A‑K team in 1996. He has been in his current role since January 1, 2013. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Michigan, a licensed General Contractor and a LEED Accredited Professional.

Steffen
Chief Financial Officer
Previously from Illinois, Todd brings over 30 years of accounting construction experience to O‑A‑K. He holds his bachelor’s degree in accounting and his master’s in business administration from Illinois State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant. Todd is also a member of the Institute of Management Accountants and the Construction Financial Management Association.

Jeremy
Amshey
Chief Operating Officer
Jeremy Amshey is a dedicated leader in the construction industry, currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for O-A-K. Born and raised in Rockford, Michigan, he maintains strong ties to his roots, where he continues to live today with his wife and three children.
Jeremy's professional journey began at Ferris State University, where he earned his degree in Construction Management. This foundation in the field led him to join the O-A-K team in 2008. His talent and commitment saw him rise through the ranks, eventually taking on the crucial role of COO. As COO, Jeremy is instrumental to the company, serving as the vital link between O-A-K's core culture and its clients. He ensures that the firm's values and commitment to excellence are reflected in every project and relationship.
Beyond his work at O-A-K, Jeremy is passionate about giving back to the community and supporting education. He currently serves on the Ferris State University Foundation Board, helping to shape the future of his alma mater and support its mission. Additionally, he previously dedicated his time and expertise as a trustee for the Rockford Education Foundation, advocating for educational opportunities within his local community. In his personal time, Jeremy previously coached several youth sports teams as his children were growing up—a testament to his dedication as a parent and his belief in community mentorship.

Josh
Szymanski
Chief Strategy Officer
With two decades of experience in the commercial construction industry, Josh is a seasoned professional responsible for driving business development and strategic initiatives that support O-A-K’s client expectations and corporate growth. His role effectively bridges the gap between project concept and construction operations, commercial construction industry, Josh specializes in process management and institutional projects. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological University and a Master's in Civil Engineering from Purdue University. He is a licensed and registered Professional Engineer in the State of Michigan and a LEED Accredited Professional.

Tom
Stanek
Director of Kalamazoo Operations
Tom was raised in Southwest Michigan in the town of Decatur and now lives in Paw Paw, not far from where he grew up. He has completed a wide range of projects throughout the Midwest, including K–12, higher education, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, food service, and retail facilities. He holds a B.S. in Construction Science Management with a minor in Business Management from Western Michigan University.

Rachael
Martemucci
Director of Education Market Development
Rachael joined O-A-K in 2010 and now serves as Director of Education Market Development, following more than a decade as Director of Marketing. In this role, she focuses on strengthening client services, developing talent, and unifying teams across several departments. She has partnered with more than 20 local school districts and brings deep expertise in pre-bond planning and strategic engagement.

Cade
Dammen
Director of Field Operations
Cade began his career as an intern at O‑A‑K for two consecutive summers. After he completed his construction management degree from Ferris State University, he was hired as a full-time Project Superintendent. Today, as the Director of Field Operations, Cade provides leadership to Project Superintendents and serves as a mentor to employees.
