Kim Burchardt joined O-A-K in 2012 as a member of the accounting department. She holds a double Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from Davenport University and brings more than 31 years of construction industry experience.
While attending college full time and balancing four jobs, I realized I needed a more focused career path. I came across an opportunity with a local excavation company through the Davenport Job Placement Office. What began as a job quickly developed into a long-term career — I became a partner and spent 17 years there before joining O-A-K. Today, I bring more than 31 years of experience in the construction industry.
I enjoy supporting others and am always willing to step in where needed. In a previous role, I operated a bulldozer for a full day to keep trucks moving and have stepped into field roles when staffing was tight.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my kids and being outdoors — especially near the water. I also like working on crafts and spending time target shooting.
