July 2, 2019 – Owen‑Ames‑Kimball Co. (O‑A‑K), local professional construction firm, announces the addition of eight new employees. New personnel include six project superintendents, one project manager, and one laborer.
Phil Veenhoven, Project Superintendent
Phil brings over 15 years of field leadership experience, with a diverse portfolio consisting of aviation, healthcare, education, and government defense projects. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from Michigan State University. Prior to joining the O‑A‑K team, he worked for one of the largest construction management firms in the United States.
Eric Dean, P.E., Project Manager
Eric is a licensed Professional Engineer with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological University. He has 10 years of experience in various roles ranging from superintendent, to estimator, to project manager.
Todd Grzegorski, Project Superintendent
Todd has over 32 years of construction experience, specializing in healthcare, community, and commercial projects. He is a licensed builder and is OSHA 30-Hour construction safety certified.
Cole Marschall, Laborer
Cole is a recent graduate of Hopkins Public Schools. This past spring, he completed the Building Trades program through Allegan County Area Technical & Education Center (AAESA) where he was awarded the Employability Award.
Danny Anderson, Project Superintendent
Danny has over 24 years of experience as a project superintendent, with a heavy focus on planning and supervising multi-million dollar industrial and automotive construction projects.
Mike Bowhuis, Project Superintendent
Mike is a Rockford resident and has over 17 years of experience in construction supervision. He is a licensed builder and is OSHA 30-hour construction safety certified. His portfolio features healthcare, education, and commercial projects.
Aj Lisman, Project Superintendent
AJ is a Spring Lake native. He has three years of experience as an assistant foreman for a local building contractor. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan.
Tom White, Project Superintendent
Tom brings over 30 years of experience as a project superintendent on West Michigan-based projects ranging up to $32 million. His portfolio features on-site supervision on many southwest Michigan community, educational, and industrial projects. Tom also holds the OSHA 30-hour construction safety certification.
