(GRAND RAPIDS, MI) - Owen-Ames-Kimball Co. (O-A-K), local professional construction firm, announces the additions of Riley Fish as Project Manager, Andre Newsted as Cost Control Coordinator, and David Lamb, Tom Stepanovich, Tanner Wanzer, and Sam Moss as Carpenters. Five of the six positions were newly created in response to company growth.
Riley Fish, Project Manager, holds his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Ferris State University. He has over 10 years of experience in the field, with expertise in water well drilling. Riley was hired for a new Project Management position to assist with the firm’s growing workload.
Andre Newsted, Cost Control Coordinator, graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance. Born and raised in West Michigan, Andre brings a passion for innovation and efficiency in the workplace.
David Lamb, Carpenter, brings 13 years of commercial construction experience in general trades and demolition. He holds his Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor License, Forklift Material Handling Certification, and several operator permits for aerial work platforms and mobile equipment.
Tom Stepanovich, Carpenter, has 5 years of industry experience, specializing in framing, electrical work, and construction estimating. Tom studied Biology and Chemistry at Western Michigan University and holds his AAADM (American Association of Automatic Door Manufacturers) and Boon Edam Certifications.
Tanner Wanzer, Carpenter, brings 5 years of commercial construction experience, with expertise in masonry, iron work, and steel fabrication. He is a certified Medical First Responder, and a Certified MIG Welder.
Sam Moss, Carpenter, specializes in finish carpentry. He has worked in the commercial construction industry for 30 years and holds certifications in First Aid and CPR training.
