Blaire Phillips
Blaire was raised jointly between Southern Illinois and the Western Pacific Ocean in the Republic of Palau. She holds a B.S. in English from Southern Illinois University, and brings more than a decade of marketing leadership experience to O-A-K. Prior to relocating to Southwest Michigan, Phillips gained unique international experience serving as Communications Director in the Office of the President of Palau and as a News Anchor for Oceania Television Network in the Western Pacific Islands.
Why did you choose the construction industry?
I chose the construction industry because it allows me to be part of work that has a real, lasting impact on communities. Helping bring spaces for learning, gathering, and growth to life is both meaningful and rewarding.
What have you learned while working at O-A-K?
I’ve learned that strong relationships, clear communication, and a people-first culture are essential to successful projects. Collaboration and thoughtful storytelling help ensure each project delivers lasting value for clients and communities.
