What drew you to a career in talent acquisition?
I was drawn to a career in talent acquisition because I’ve always been a connector, I enjoy meeting great people and helping them find the right opportunities. I’m passionate about matching talented individuals with roles where they can thrive, while also helping organizations grow by bringing in skilled professionals. It’s especially rewarding to know that this work makes a broader impact on the community. I love seeing candidates develop and succeed over time—it’s incredibly fulfilling to play even a small part in someone’s professional growth.
What does "people first" mean to you in your work?
To me, “people first” means focusing on the human side of the business. It’s about recognizing that every individual is more than just their role or skillset—they’re a person with a life, goals, and responsibilities outside of work. In my approach, I strive to genuinely care for and support people not only as professionals, but as individuals, creating an environment where they feel valued and understood. By prioritizing that level of care and empathy, I can better support their success and well-being both in and beyond the workplace.
