I chose construction because I was introduced to it at a young age and quickly developed a passion for the industry. The summer after 7th grade, I started working for my brother-in-law’s family electrical company, where I was exposed to the day-to-day realities of job sites, teamwork, and the pride that comes from building something tangible. That early hands-on experience taught me the value of hard work, accountability, and problem-solving. Over time, what began as a summer job turned into a genuine interest in how projects come together. From planning and coordination to execution in the field, ultimately shaped my decision to build a career in construction.
Working at O-A-K has taught me that success is built on trust, accountability, and teamwork. I’ve learned the importance of clear communication, taking ownership of challenges, and supporting the people around me to achieve a common goal. The culture here truly feels like family, everyone looks out for one another, shares knowledge openly, and takes pride in doing things the right way. Being part of a team that values relationships as much as results has shaped not only how I work, but how I lead and support others every day.
In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors and spending quality time with the people who matter most to me. Hunting and ice fishing are two of my favorite ways to unplug and recharge, especially during the colder months. When the weather is warm, you’ll often find me on the golf course or heading over to South Haven to relax by the water. I’m also a big sports fan and enjoy catching games whenever I can. Most importantly, I value time with my family. Whether we’re traveling, enjoying a weekend together, or just sharing a good meal, that’s what I appreciate most.

I’m a huge fan of the Minnesota Vikings and make it a priority to get to a few games each season to cheer them on in person.
