Ellen has an extensive background in the construction industry, which spans over four decades. Her journey began as an owner’s representative for a significant project comprising the construction of a 350-room hotel and a 70-unit condominium complex. Additionally, she managed the completion of three five-story office buildings
Following that, she had the opportunity to work with various firms in New York City, where she honed her skills as an owner’s representative for both new constructions and renovations. This experience allowed her to develop a deep understanding of the intricacies involved in managing large-scale projects.
Over the years, she has held several key positions, including regional operations and facilities manager, director of operations, and owner/president. These roles have equipped her with a comprehensive skill set that enables her to oversee multiple large-scale projects and ensure their successful completion on time and within budget.
From a young age, I was immersed in the world of construction thanks to my family's involvement in the industry. My father would often take me to various construction sites, and I found the environment both exciting and fascinating.
As I grew older, it became clear to me that this was a passion and a career path I wanted to pursue. I have always enjoyed the dynamic mix of sitting behind a desk to plan and strategize, and then stepping out into the field to see those plans come to life. There is something truly wonderful about watching a project start from zero and evolve into a beautiful, finished product. The entire process, from inception to completion, is incredibly rewarding and fulfilling.
I absolutely love swimming, shooting, and shopping. These activities bring me a lot of joy and help me stay active and engaged. Whether I'm in the water, at the range, or browsing through stores, I'm always having a great time.
Both sides of my family are Italian, and if you know anything about Italians, you know we tend to be quite loud! It's a part of our charm and heritage. People often think I'm yelling when I'm just speaking in my normal tone.
