As Senior Director of Strategy and Finance for O-A-K, Rob Rotchadl brings nearly 20 years of experience helping organizations connect financial strategy with business goals. He has spent his career partnering with leadership teams to turn big-picture ideas into practical plans that drive performance, support growth, and create long-term value. His background includes financial planning and analysis, forecasting, performance management, and strategic decision-making.
Before joining O-A-K, Rob served as Vice President of Finance for a multi-entity commercial real estate services platform, where he led long-range planning, forecasting, and business performance efforts. At O-A-K, Rob works closely with company leaders to improve planning processes, provide greater financial insight, and help teams make informed decisions that support the company’s continued success. He earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
How did your journey with O-A-K begin?
After nearly two decades in corporate finance, real estate advisory, and strategic planning, I was ready for something more operational and growth-focused. O-A-K stood out right away, not just for its reputation in commercial construction, but for its people and its commitment to Southwest Florida. A company that's financially disciplined and genuinely rooted in the community made the decision easy.
What have you learned working at O-A-K?
That collaboration, adaptability, and trust drive everything in this industry. Modeling outcomes on paper is one thing; working alongside project teams making real-time decisions is another. I've come to appreciate how much strong communication between the field, project management, and finance matters, and I've seen how O-A-K's focus on accountability and relationships builds both performance and staying power.
What do you do in your free time?
I'm usually with my wife and our two daughters, whether that's a beach day, a pool afternoon, or hunting down something fun and educational for the girls. I also love to travel and explore new countries and cultures, and I'll sneak in a round of golf when I can. Southwest Florida makes it easy to stay active and enjoy that time together year-round.
