This project increased the charging coverage within the concourses to almost 50%, providing additional under-seat charging units, as well as pole and pedestal stations with wired and wireless charging capabilities within selective gate areas of the three (3) concourses to accommodate passengers who are traveling through RSW with laptop, smartphone and other personal electronic devices. These in-seat power stations can accommodate power cords and USB cables as well as wireless charging for the passenger’s convenience. The majority of the work to install these units was completed at night.
