Every community needs a place where important decisions are made, neighbors gather, and local organizations come together. For the City of Castle Pines, the Community Center is that place. Recognizing the importance of this valued community asset, Owen-Ames-Kimball partnered with the City to renovate and modernize the existing facility, ensuring it continues to meet the needs of a growing community.
The renovation focused on improving both the building's infrastructure and the experience of those who use it every day. O-A-K completed upgrades to the lighting, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems while transforming the interior into a more functional and welcoming environment. Renovated meeting rooms, improved conference spaces, and enhanced audience seating create a flexible setting for public meetings and community events.
Today, the Community Center serves as the meeting location for the Castle Pines City Council, Planning Commission, Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, and Urban Renewal Authority, while the Castle Pines North Metropolitan District continues to utilize office space within the building. The improved facility also provides an upgraded space for residents and local organizations to gather, collaborate, and participate in community activities.
The true success of this project is measured by its impact. By enhancing an important public facility, Owen-Ames-Kimball helped create a more functional space where local government can conduct meetings, residents can engage with their community, and local organizations have an improved place to gather. The result is a lasting investment in a facility that will continue supporting the City of Castle Pines and its residents for years to come.
