This new fitness and wellness center project included construction of a two-story, 33,000 sf facility and demolition of an 8,100 sf masonry structure on the site of the former Markin Tennis Center. The new structure, like the old, is attached to the indoor court building to provide interior access between buildings.

The facility features:

• A weight room and cardio fitness area to serve students and employees
• Five multi-purpose rooms
• Two racquetball courts
• Expanded lockers for both the Hornet tennis teams and for general use
• An office and health assessment room for the campus wellness director
