Historic Building Modernization Project

This four-story building was constructed in the early 1900s and serves as a multi-purpose facility for the Salvation Army, with administrative offices, a clothing and goods resale store, a chapel, and a dormitory for an adult rehabilitation center.

Renovations to the building included:

  • Demolition of the existing cladding systems to expose the original masonry and window openings;
  • New masonry veneer exterior facade with both aluminum framed and curtain wall window systems;
  • Fire protection, HVAC, and electrical and interior light upgrades; and
  • Redesign of new entrance areas at the south and east elevations.
