Danielle Pearson

Why did you choose the construction industry?

Construction has always felt like it chose me rather than the other way around. I’m drawn to the industry because it blends structure, problem-solving, and teamwork in a very tangible way. Through my background in a previous role with local County Government in Community Development, I had the opportunity to support projects administratively behind the scenes, helping developers and landowners move their visions from conception to completion. Combined with a family background rooted in blue-collar work, the industry has always felt familiar.

What have you learned while working at O-A-K?

Working at O-A-K has reinforced the value of trust, teamwork, and taking responsibility for the work we do. There is a strong emphasis on work-life balance and pride in delivering quality projects that positively impact the communities we serve. Leadership is supportive, approachable, and encourages ongoing learning and professional growth.

What else should we know about you?

Professionally, I’m highly organized, detail-oriented, and known for supporting teams through coordination, process improvement, and follow-through. I enjoy bringing structure to complex workflows, anticipating needs, and helping projects and people stay aligned. I’m adaptable, collaborative, and naturally curious, with a strong appreciation for continuous learning and growth. Outside of work, I enjoy staying organized (yes, even for fun), spending time outdoors, and being with my family and friends. I value curiosity, adaptability, and a big-picture perspective, which carries over into both my professional and personal life.
