Neil Armstrong Elementary School was the First Elementary school in the state of Florida to be LEED Certified. The two-story elementary school is a full hurricane forced wind resistant impact rated structure constructed using the tilt-wall method. Sitting on a 10 acre site, there are 38 classrooms with interactive teaching boards, digital cameras and enhanced audio systems. Students enjoy the media center and a multipurpose/dining area which is serviced by a fully equipped commercial kitchen. There is a separate physical education building. covered play area, play fields and two fenced playgrounds.
