This project was a renovation of an existing building into a new Early Childhood Center to support St. Thomas’ expanding preschool program, new Young 5s program, and preschool childcare services. The renovated facility now accommodates approximately 60 students and 8 staff members.
The project included selective structural demolition, HVAC modifications, plumbing rework, restroom renovations, ADA compliance upgrades, new lighting and electrical systems, and updated interior finishes. A new exterior window near the entrance was also added to increase natural light and improve visibility.
Originally constructed in the early 1990s with later additions, the building was fully transformed to meet the school’s programmatic and operational needs—all delivered on schedule following the departure of the previous tenant.
