Bond Delivers Big Upgrades for Hart Schools

Hart Public School District passed a $15.8 million bond election on May 5, 2015. The project included major improvements to the high school, a new track, and renovations at the elementary school.

The new track was completed September 2015 under a very tight schedule to be ready for the 2015-2016 school year. Improvements to the track included a new home bleachers sidewalk, retaining wall, victory bell, new runways for the pole vault and long jump, long jump pit, high jump area.

The High School received an added cafeteria, kitchen, office, and entrance, and the existing school underwent a complete renovation while students and staff remained in the building.

Spitler Elementary also received a restroom addition and significant office and classroom renovations.
