The 5/6 building @ Georgetown was part of a 2019 bond program to build new facilities to address the district's population needs.

The project includes learning spaces with integrated technology and flexible furniture, a secure entry connecting the academic areas, cafeteria, gymnasium, and centralized extended learning areas for collaboration spaces.

The school was designed with the specific needs of fifth and sixth graders in mind, easing the transition between elementary and middle school with spaces that meet students at their level and accommodate the curriculum and instruction.
