
The KCTC Culinary & Marketing renovation is two projects in one; it was built to accommodate the student growth and to bring off campus programs back on site with 13 commercial instructing stations added, reconfigured from previously being a mechatronics space. The marketing area was renovated and designed with breakaway rooms for project-based learning.
The project was completed successfully even with the tight timeline in place. Due to these constraints, longlead items had to be pre-ordered such as kitchen equipment. The area was also occupied during the duration of construction which was another challenge to overcome.
