Auditorium and Learning Spaces Reimagined

This two-phase project began in 2008 and was completed in September of 2010, two months ahead of schedule. Key elements included: additional classrooms; a new media center featuring floor-to-ceiling windows on perimeter walls; a new state-of-the-art auditorium with capacity for 800; and a new “Main Street,” which cuts through the center of the building and improves circulation and supervision by connecting academic, social and athletic spaces.

The High School building was literally ripped in half while occupied. Art rooms and a multimedia lab are visible from the Main Street through the use of large glass walls, displaying artwork and active “student learning.”
