KPMG located its newest “Ignition Center” on the 4th floor of the 99 Monroe Building in downtown Grand Rapids. The new 15,900 sf of Class A office space for 70 employees is divided up into “me” spaces, “we” spaces and “us” spaces. This type of office space lends itself to collaboration, creativity and is more tech-oriented.

The scope of the project included:

• Exposed ceiling cavity construction along major circulation paths.
• Exposed concrete flooring at major circulation paths.
• Glass and aluminum frame sliding door office fronts.
• Aluminum framed glass sidelites at conference rooms.

This project was submitted to the U.S. Green Building Council for LEED Silver Certification.
