The new construction project includes two one-story four-unit multifamily residential buildings with 2 two-bedroom and 2 one-bedroom units per building. Each unit has a private lanai, kitchen with all appliances, hurricane safe windows throughout, attractive cultured stone applied around each entry column base and fire extinguishers inside and outside of each unit. Solar panels supply hot water to all the units as well as the energy to run the pumps and the standing seam roof is hurricane resistant and energy efficient with the insulation applied directly to the underside of the roof. One of the 2 bedroom units in each building is fully ADA compliant including audio/visual alert system.

The work was contained within a small site and the staging was between the project buildings. This 'Buy American' project achieved over 70% Section 3 minority participation.

Each of the eight (8) apartments achieved LEED For Homes Platinum.
