Owen‑Ames‑Kimball Florida President Matthew Zwack Selected for Leadership Florida Cornerstone Class 43

Owen‑Ames‑Kimball (O‑A‑K) Florida announces that President Matthew Zwack has been selected to the 2025–2026 Leadership Florida Cornerstone Class 43, a prestigious statewide program that honors exceptional leaders committed to shaping Florida’s future.

Leadership Florida’s Cornerstone Class is a highly selective, nine-month program that brings together 55 accomplished leaders from across Florida’s diverse industries, communities, and regions. Through immersive, multi-day sessions held throughout the state, participants explore pressing issues, strengthen their leadership skills, and form meaningful connections that fuel long-term impact.

Zwack’s selection reflects both his outstanding leadership and his deep commitment to building strong communities throughout Florida. He has served as President of O‑A‑K Florida—one of the region’s largest and most respected construction firms—since 2021. Since joining the company in 2005 as an assistant superintendent, he has steadily advanced through key leadership roles, including Chief Safety Officer, General Superintendent, and Vice President of Operations.

Zwack is actively involved in the community, serving on the Board of Directors for United Way of Lee, Hendry, Glades, and Okeechobee Counties; the Greater Naples Chamber; the Horizon Foundation of Lee County (as a Member-at-Large); The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools; and Habitat for Humanity of Lee and Hendry Counties.

“I am excited about the opportunity to participate in Leadership Florida’s Cornerstone Class and look forward to the insights, connections, and innovation I will bring back to O‑A‑K and the communities we serve,” said Zwack.

As President, Zwack has guided O‑A‑K Florida through a period of significant growth while upholding the company’s legacy of integrity, service, and excellence. His leadership has shaped numerous high-impact projects across Southwest Florida, including educational campuses, healthcare facilities, and complex aviation developments.

Founded in 1982 by the Florida Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Florida is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building a better state by convening influential leaders, cultivating collaborative networks, and addressing Florida’s most critical challenges. Its alumni network includes more than 3,300 leaders—ranging from CEOs and elected officials to nonprofit executives, educators, entrepreneurs, and public servants—who are united by a shared commitment to Florida’s future.

Graduating from Leadership Florida’s Cornerstone Class marks the beginning of lifelong engagement in a powerful, statewide leadership network focused on learning, service, and collective impact.
