Taylor Sawatzky, Director of Strategic Development at Owen‑Ames‑Kimball Company (O‑A‑K), has been appointed to the Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) Alumni Association Board of Directors. FGCU Alumni Association Board members are graduates of the university who demonstrate a commitment to advancing the university and the Alumni Association’s goals, have a history of volunteering with the university, and have distinguished themselves personally and professionally since graduating. Members of the board of directors serve two-year terms.
“I am extremely humbled to be selected to serve on the Florida Gulf Coast University Alumni Association Board of Directors,” said Sawatzky. “My experiences at FGCU armed me with a passion for learning, improvement, and innovation. I am excited to expand my advocacy role at the university.”
Sawatzky earned his Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Business Administration and Management from Florida Gulf Coast University. He is a 2023 graduate of Leadership Collier, a Certified Project Management Professional, and a Certified Public Manager.
